We know that regular dental hygiene is important for our pet’s overall health, but cleaning a dog’s teeth can be a stressful experience for everyone! Ultrasonic cleaning is silent and gentle, and tolerated by even sensitive pets.

What is ultrasonic teeth cleaning?
Ultrasonic tooth cleaning is a gentle dental treatment that uses high frequency sound waves to remove plaque and deposits from your dog’s teeth, helping reduce the risk of dental disease, gum inflammation, bad breath and more. The ultrasonic tooth brush cleans silently without brushing, so it’s tolerated even by sensitive pets.

How does it work?
An ultrasonic toothbrush looks just like an electric toothbrush, but is completely silent and does not vibrate. The brush is held to the dog’s teeth and the cleaning is done by the ultrasonic waves in contact with the water and the specialist toothpaste.
We use the emmi®-pet system, which is recommended by vets for the prevention of dental issues. The emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush is designed specifically for pets, and cleans even the narrowest interdental spaces without noise, vibration, and scrubbing, making for a calm and effective teeth cleaning experience for dogs
Even dogs who have their teeth brushed frequently can benefit from ultrasonic cleaning, as it cleans where bristles can’t reach (like gum pockets and interdental spaces).
How many sessions will my dog need?
Dogs usually require 2-4 sessions.
2 sessions are usually sufficient for dogs with moderate tartar and staining.
£40 per session, or book a course of 4 for £120 (last session free)
Please note this treatment does not replace the need for regular checkups with your vet.
